Welcome to the South Sudan Center of America!
Biar Atem, one of the "Lost Boys of Sudan," created the South Sudan Center of America as a way to combat indifference, intolerance, and injustice through education, dialogue, and cultural understanding.
Biar Atem was seven years old when soldiers from the North came to kill him and every other boy in South Sudan
Now an adult, Biar seeks to help other children suffering from persecution and poverty. Want to join him, too?
